Dr. Sravani Behara is an experienced psychiatrist with a wide range of expertise in managing mental health conditions across all age groups. She has worked in various settings, including outpatient and inpatient facilities, and has experience in both pharmacological and psychological approaches to treatment.
Dr. Behara has previously served as an Assistant Professor in a tertiary care teaching hospital in India and has also worked in a government medical college. She has extensive experience in handling child guidance, geriatric, de-addiction, and general adult clinics. Additionally, she has practised as a psychiatrist in the United Arab Emirates for five years.
At Openminds Psychiatry counselling and Neuroscience Center and Windsor medical center Dubai, Dr. Behara collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for a variety of psychiatric conditions. This includes anxiety disorders, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, postpartum disorders, affective disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, Adult ADHD, psychosis, stress-related disorders, substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, child psychiatry including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, conversion disorders, and neuropsychiatry.

I was hesitant to had treatment under pychiatrist cause of stigma it may have, however, when i undergo with medication with just less than a month i saw lots of improvement with my moods and physical body were i gained my confidence and things went well, Many thanks to Dr. Srivani for her professionalism and guidance to my journey, indeed it needs from me to trust the process. Its worth it.
I came to DrSravani after a poor experience with a counsellor previously. So I was quite nervous. However I was met with unconditional support and positivity. I have seen her for almost 3 years now and am incredibly grateful for it.

I now finally understand thay why everything is a struggle for me and why i leave tasks in the midway. First time i met a caring and excellent Psychiatrist. Dr Sravani is patient listening to my problems and detailed explanation of treatment plan made me feel that my problem is very appropriately addressed and handled in a most efficient manner.
