Dr. Shima Sharif

Dr Shima Sharif is a Dermatology and Venereology Specialist with over 8 years of experience in clinical dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She holds a Clinical MD in Dermatology and Venereology from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB) and is licensed by both the Department of Health (DOH) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Highly motivated and committed to excellence in skin health, Dr Shima is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, as well as performing cosmetic and corrective procedures.

Dr Shima has worked across leading medical centres in the UAE and Sudan, and currently practises as a Dermatology and Venereology Specialist at Burjeel Medical Center Barari in Al Ain. Prior to this, she practiced as a specialist at Royal Care Medical Centre in Al Ain and held specialist posts at Ibrahim Malik Teaching Hospital and Khartoum Hospital For Dermatology & Venerology in Sudan. 

Her clinical expertise spans medical dermatology, venereology, and aesthetic treatments, with proven ability in developing tailored corrective plans to enhance skin health, manage chronic conditions and address cosmetic concerns. Dr Shima has a strong interest in evidence-based dermatological care and continually updates her skills to incorporate the latest techniques in aesthetic medicine.
