Dr Mithun Shetty

Dr Mithun Shetty is a highly skilled Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics with an impressive 20 years of experience in orthodontics. He completed his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree at Bapuji Dental College and Hospital in Davangere, India, in 2007 and became a Member in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. 

In 2018, he was awarded his M(Orth) RCPS (Glasg) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Dr Shetty is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, United Kingdom and a Fellow of the Indian Orthodontic Society. Dr Shetty also holds professional memberships with the International Association of Orthodontics in the USA and the Malaysian Dental Association.

Dr Shetty has expertise in preventive orthodontics and functional jaw orthopaedics, employing a variety of orthodontic and functional appliances. On occasion, he combines orthognathic surgeries with orthodontic interventions to effectively address complex dentofacial anomalies.
