Dr. Sergey Maksimkin

Sergey Maximkin is a Massage Therapist and Physiotherapist working in Dubai, who is a specialist in Osteopathy. With over 18 years of experience, Sergey is an expert in his field and teaches at the International Academy of Faceplasty and Osteopathy. He is experienced in treating a wide array of issues including headaches, visual problems, dizziness, issues concentrating as well as neck, back and joint pain. He has developed a wide range of expertise and is also able to treat cardiovascular issues like blood pressure fluctuation, breathing difficulties, abdominal pain, painful menstruation and general wellness including chronic fatigue, depression and sleep disorders. He offers services including osteopathic sessions, kinesiotaping, and shockwave therapy which are tailored to each individual he is treating.

Sergey has undergone extensive training throughout his career, beginning with qualifying from the Moscow Medical Academy of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in Medical Massage in 2004. Since then, he completed advanced training in this field as well as becoming a Doctor of Osteopathy in 2020 and working as a Professor of Medical Kinesiology from 2022-2024. He now works as a Professor of Osteopathy and Faceplasty at MAFO in Dubai and is a Member of the Medical Association of Professional Osteopaths as well as a Member of the Professional Association of Visceral Therapists. His dedication to his professional development has allowed him to become an expert in his field and contribute to the teaching of the next generation of osteopaths.
