Dr. Seema Raina

Dr Seema Raina is a well experienced distinguished Specialist Paediatric Dentist at Medcare Paediatric Specialty Centre in Dubai with over 23 years of experience. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree at Lucknow University, India, in 1997, followed by her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree at the same university in 2000. Dr Raina also holds qualifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Airway Management from International Trauma Care in Hyderabad, India. She also completed training in Nitrous Oxide Sedation at Sri Sai College of Dental Sciences in India.

Prior to joining Medcare, Dr Raina served as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist at the esteemed Gokuldham Medical Center in Mumbai, India. Furthermore, she shared her expertise as a Lecturer at Yerala Dental College and a Professor at Dr D Y Patil Dental College.

Dr Raina takes pride in offering diet counselling, analysis, and modifications when necessary, particularly focusing on infant feeding habits and oral hygiene measures. She emphasises preventive and prophylactic dental treatment, along with restorative procedures, as integral components of her practice. Her expertise also extends to pulp therapy in deciduous and young permanent teeth, paediatric oral medicine and surgery, management of gum diseases, and diagnosing and intercepting developing malocclusions. Moreover, she is highly proficient in dental treatment under general anaesthesia and utilises nitrous oxide when necessary.
