Dr. Sebouh Kassis

Dr Sebouh Kassis is a highly experienced, Belgian Board-Certified Specialist Neurosurgeon and Spine Surgeon with over 16 years of experience practicing in the UAE. He currently sees patients at Dubai London Hospital, Saudi German Hospital.

Dr Kassis completed his medical degree at Yerevan State Medical University, Armenia followed by his neurosurgical training at the University Hospital of Liege in Belgium, where he graduated with the highest distinction award in 2006. Dr Kassis further developed his expertise through a 3 year fellowship program at the Neurological Hospital of Lyon, France, and holds a French specialty certificate in both Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr Kassis possesses comprehensive knowledge and expertise in various areas of neurosurgery and spine surgery. His areas of expertise include conservative treatment of neck and back pain, minimally invasive spine surgery utilising microsurgery, endoscopy, and spinal navigation techniques, as well as minimally invasive spinal stabilisation for traumatic and degenerative diseases. He is experienced in performing spinal arthroplasty with total disc replacement, adult spinal deformity surgery, and spinal percutaneous infiltrations such as epidural and facet blocks.

Dr Kassis also has specialist expertise in spinal pain procedures, brain surgery and functional neurosurgery. In his current practices, he offers radiofrequency ablation procedures for back pain relief, brain surgery for trauma and tumour cases, hydrocephalus treatment using shunts, endoscopic surgery for pituitary adenoma, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, as well as the implantation of baclofen pumps for spasticity management.
