Dr. Sarmad Al Fahad is a highly experienced Consultant Neurologist with over 40 years of experience in the field. He gained his clinical and teaching experience in the United Kingdom at some of the most prestigious hospitals and clinics. He has been recognized for his comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring that his patients receive the best diagnosis and treatment options for their pathology, enabling them to live better lives despite their challenging conditions.

Dr. Al Fahad specialises in various neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, acute and non-acute strokes, headaches, migraines, Parkinson’s disease and tremors, movement disorders, peripheral nerve involvement, neuropathic pain, memory loss, sleep disorders, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and a wide range of acute and chronic neurological conditions.

Dr. Al Fahad has been recognized with various awards for his exceptional work. He has received awards from the Minister of Health for being the first among 250 students to be graduated by the Minister of High Education for Publications and also by the Congress of the World Federation of Neurology in Dubai for his services in Neurology.

Dr. Al Fahad is also an accomplished researcher and has published various articles in renowned journals such as the Journal of Neurological Sciences, Iraqi Medical Journal, Journal of the Faculty of Medicine, and Journal of Neuroradiology, to name a few. His research interests include Neuro-Behcet's S Disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Neuropathy CIDP, and Stroke in young adult Iraqi patients, among others.
