Dr. Nooshin has more than 10 years of extensive experience
in the field of neurology. She earned his medical degree and board
certification of neurology from the most prestigious university in Iran, Tehran
University of Medical Sciences. Further, she pursued advanced training through
a fellowship in headache disorders at the Danish Headache Centre, University of
Copenhagen, under the supervision of Professor Jes Olesen, who is well-known as
the godfather of the headache around the world. She also attended a two years
mastership program of headache disorders at the University of Copenhagen. She
is a fellow of European Headache Federation and a member of the Educational
Committee of the International Headache Society.  

Dr. Nooshin's expertise is to diagnose and treat different
types of headache disorders, and she is a referral neurologist for difficult to
treat migraines and headaches. She is an expert in nerve blocks and Botox
injections and non-pharmacological strategies for treating headaches. 

She is also proficient in diagnosing and treating other neurological
disorders such as vertigo, tinnitus, dementia, sleep disorders, seizure,
epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson disease, tics and tremor, spine
disorders (low back pain, cervical pain, discopathy, sciatica), muscle and nerve disorders (carpal tunnel
syndrome, polyneuropathy, myopathy and myasthenia gravis) and proven success in
electrodiagnosis (EEG, EMG-NCV, VEP). 

She authored or co-authored numerous publications and
research papers in reputed international medical journals such as Nature
reviews, Brain, etc.  

She has received multiple international grants from
International Headache Society, University of Copenhagen, and European Headache
Federation, such as scholarship at the King's College London, International
Headache Academy, and European School of Advanced Studies.  

She is among the very few headache specialists in the
Middle East.
