She completed her medical degree at Sanaa University, Yemen in 2008. Following this, she moved to Dubai in 2010 and began her specialist registrar training in paediatrics and paediatric neurology at Latifa Hospital, completing her training in 2014. In 2015 she was awarded her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (2015) and became a certified specialist in Paediatric Neurology from the Arab Board of Health Specializations. She later completed an International Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology in Dublin, Ireland and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2018.

Dr samar saved our little girl with her hard work , dedication and knowledge! Our daughter was presented with symptoms that can be easily dismissed by any Dr (which happened in other hospitals) Dr samar gave her full focus and attention to her symptoms and was able to spot on other symptoms non of us or Drs noticed … she was very quick in ordering necessary tests/ scans and was able to reach a diagnosis for a very very rare disease in less than 2 days when usually kids are misdiagnosed for average 6 month! Not only did this save us time , but it saved our little baby from fast deterioration and possible irreversible damages that is usually caused by this disease . Her hard work , dedication and fast action gave our little girl a chance and for that we shall always and forever be grateful for her. Thank you ! Our little Celine , Thanks you as well :)
