Dr. Ritu Khare

Dr. Ritu Khare has been practicing in Dubai for the past 20 years and is currently based at Kings College Hospital in Dubai. Her focus area is surgical issues in women. She specializes in minimal access surgery or laparoscopic surgery and breast oncology. She is an expert in advanced laparoscopic surgeries for gall bladder, hernia, colon, intestines, pancreas, and stomach. Dr. Khare is also able to provide second opinions on complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and cancer cases.

Dr. Khare trained at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute in India which is one of the best institutes for complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary procedures such as chronic pancreatitis and bile duct injuries. In 2012, she was commended for the Arab Health Young surgeon of the year award. For the last 15 years, she has been actively involved in breast oncology and is committed to raising awareness for women's health issues such as breast cancer. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and works as part of the multidisciplinary team for breast cancer treatment.

Dr. Khare is also a certified Colorectal Surgeon with qualifications from the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Weil Cornel Medical College, USA, and the Institute of Laparoscopic Surgery, Bordeaux, France. Additionally, she has a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.
