About Dr. Ricardo Persaud
Dr Ricardo Persaud is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon and Head of the ENT Department at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah. Dr. Ricardo is the best doctor for Thyroid disease, Parathyroid disorders, sinus problems, neck lumps and masses, nasal blockage In the uae.
With extensive international training and more than two decades of surgical experience, he specialises in rhinology, with a particular focus on advanced sinus surgery and nasal plastic surgery.
Dr Persaud graduated with an MB BS from the University of London in 1996, having previously completed an MPhil in Neuroendocrinology in 1994. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2000 and was awarded the prestigious Fellowship in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery in 2009.
His specialist training has taken him to leading institutions across the USA, China, Canada and Hong Kong, including the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University and Queen Mary Hospital. Throughout his career, he has performed more than 8,000 ENT and head and neck procedures, establishing expertise in managing complex conditions.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Persaud has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and seven textbooks in the field of ENT. His contributions to surgery and research have been recognised with numerous national and international honours, including the prestigious Priskell Award from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I highly recommend this doctor. After struggling with a health problem for many years and seeing many doctors who couldn’t find the real cause, he was the first to diagnose me correctly and provide the right treatment.
