Dr. Ranen Rambrij

Dr Ranen Rambrij is an experienced Chiropractor at Anatomy Rehab and Physiowell, with expertise in sports injury management, spinal injuries and disc injuries. He graduated in 2016 with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from Durban University of Technology, South Africa; and in 2017, he completed his ICCSP (Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sport Practitioner) qualification.

Dr Rambrij left South Africa in 2018 to develop his career in Mauritius, because he wanted to grow and learn in a new environment. This new experience led him to join an Orthopaedic team, which changed his focus from sport-specific treatment and management to spinal and disc injuries. He now co-manages patients with other specialists using a multidisciplinary approach.

During his time in Mauritius, he was able to continue working in the field of sport as a consultant for the Mauritanian Ministry of Youth Empowerment & Sport. In this role, he helped prepare the Mauritanian powerlifting team for the Indian Ocean Games in 2019. Moreover, in 2019 Dr Rambrij was elected vice president of the Mauritian Chiropractic Association; a position which he held until his departure from Mauritius in 2021, when he moved to Dubai. 

Dr Rambrij has worked with professional athletes from a variety of sports over the last two years, including rugby, boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, bodybuilding, strongman/strongwoman competitions, and mixed martial arts. His philosophy on patient management is that 'the welfare of the patient always comes first.' By using a combination of chiropractic and medical evidence-based treatment protocols, he aims to eliminate his patients' pain and get them back to their normal activities as quickly as possible while minimising the risk of recurrence.
