Dr Parul Thakur is a well experienced Board-Certified Dermatologist and Aesthetic Physician at Athena Dermatology Clinic. She completed her medical degree at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2009 followed by her MD in Dermatology and Venereology from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India in 2014. Dr Thakur also holds her Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Dermatology, as well as a Master’s degree in Advanced Facial Aesthetics from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

She holds memberships in various prestigious international dermatology and cosmetology societies, actively contributing to the field through her co-authorship of papers in Dermatosurgery, Vitiligo, Paediatric Dermatology, and Clinical Dermatology in renowned medical journals. Notably, she has served as an Assistant Editor and co-author in 'Cosmetic Dermatology: A Practical and Evidence-Based Approach,' as well as a contributing author in 'Textbook of Clinical Correlation and Diagnostic Implications in Dermatology.'

Dr Thakur is widely recognised for her expertise in administering injectables such as Botox, Fillers, thread lifts, and various skin rejuvenation techniques. Her repertoire also includes PRP therapy, laser treatments, mesotherapy, and effective solutions for pigmentation, acne scars, and related skin concerns.
