Ms Orla McClory

Ms Orla McClory is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who works with children and young people aged 2–18 years old. Currently practicing at Hakkini Clinics, Orla brings a wealth of experience from her work across schools, clinics, and community settings in the UK, Ireland, and Dubai.

Specialising in supporting neurodivergent children and their families, Orla has extensive expertise in working with autistic and ADHD children across home, school, and clinical environments. She also has advanced experience in wheelchair and specialist seating prescription, splinting, and upper limb management for children with physical disabilities.

Orla is deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice, celebrating each child’s individuality, communication style, and strengths. Her work is centred on meaningful engagement, connection, and co-regulation, guided by the lived experiences of autistic and neurodivergent people. Orla believes therapy should be reflective, empowering, and, above all, fun.

A member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, Orla holds a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from Ulster University. She is DIRFloortime® Certified, trained in Ayres Sensory Integration®, and holds MACS Levels 1–3 in upper limb management for children with cerebral palsy.
