Dr. Omar Ibrahim

Dr. Omar Ibrahim is a Consultant in General Medicine with a strong academic and clinical background from the University of Bologna, Italy, where he earned his MD. He completed extensive postgraduate training in the Urology, Family Medicine, and Pathology/Gastroenterology Departments at Hospital S. Orsola in Bologna. Dr. Ibrahim specialises in managing acute medical illnesses, diagnosing and treating emergency health problems, and preventing and managing cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, dyslipidaemia, and type 2 diabetes. He is also dedicated to preventive medicine and healthy lifestyle modifications, developing clinical management protocols for common health conditions in primary care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ibrahim has worked across various healthcare settings. He currently practices general medicine with Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in the UAE. Previously, he has held positions at Clemenceau Medical Center, HealthBay Polyclinic, and GMCClinics in Dubai, where he focused on preventive medicine and promoting healthy lifestyles. Earlier in his career, at Monla Hospital in Lebanon, he worked in the emergency department and as an internal general practitioner, managing intensive and critical cases.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Ibrahim is an accomplished Aviation Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Authority, USA, accredited by UK Oil and Gas as an Offshore Medical Examiner, and serves as an Associate Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
