Dr Noha Ghoneim

Dr Noha Ghoneim is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist and Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Cosmetology with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience across Egypt and the UAE.

She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine for Girls, Al-Azhar University, where she is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum delivery, and dermatology training for medical and dental professionals.

Clinically, Dr Ghoneim has extensive experience managing a broad range of dermatological conditions, alongside more than 15 years of practice in aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology. Her expertise includes laser medicine, injectable treatments, and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Her aesthetic and procedural skill set includes Botox for facial rejuvenation, dermal fillers (including hyaluronic acid and biostimulatory fillers), PDO thread lifting for facial and neck lifting, mesotherapy for hair and skin rejuvenation, chemical peels (including glycolic, salicylic, Jessner, and TCA peels), and advanced laser treatments such as Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, fractional laser, Q-switch laser, microneedling radiofrequency, and HIFU for skin tightening and rejuvenation. She also has specific expertise in treating conditions such as melasma, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, androgenic alopecia, and skin aging.

She completed her medical degree and postgraduate qualifications at Al-Azhar University, earning an MD in Dermatology and Venereology with research focused on vitiligo surgery and hair dye-related dermatological conditions. Her academic work has contributed to both clinical dermatology and procedural innovation.

Alongside her work in Egypt, she has also held clinical roles in the UAE, including positions at Al Amal Medical Center, Al Raha Hospital, and other medical centres in Abu Dhabi and Baniyas, where she provided specialist dermatology and cosmetic services.

She is an active participant in international dermatology education and conferences, including regular attendance at IMCAS World Congress, as well as regional meetings such as Dubai Derma and dermatology society conferences across Egypt and the Middle East.
