Dr Mutiullah Khan

Dr. Mutiullah Khan is a senior Specialist Cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. His practice is centred on the prevention, diagnosis and long-term management of heart disease, with particular expertise in coronary artery disease, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, heart failure and atrial fibrillation.

He currently practises in Al Ain, UAE, and is associated with Burjeel Medical Centre Barari, where patients can access specialist cardiovascular assessment and follow-up care. He is also listed within the Burjeel Royal Hospital cardiology network in Al Ain.

Dr. Khan completed his MBBS at Liaquat University of Medical Sciences in Pakistan in 1987 and later completed postgraduate specialist training in Cardiology at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Government Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

Earlier in his career, he served as Consultant Cardiologist, Assistant Professor and Head of the Cardiology Department at Saidu Medical College, Swat, before joining Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar as a Consultant Cardiologist and Faculty Member. His academic background has included teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate doctors and participating in national and international continuing medical education activities.

A key focus of Dr. Khan’s work is preventive cardiology. He supports patients in identifying and reducing cardiovascular risk factors such as high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol and other contributors to coronary artery disease, with the aim of reducing the future risk of angina, heart attack and related complications.
