Dr Mridula Dhakad

Dr. Mridula Dhakad is a Specialist Interventional Cardiologist at Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital and Medcare Hospital, Al Safa Branch. She completed her MBBS and MD (Medicine) at Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, and cardiology training at Bombay Hospital and Research Centre, earning a Diplomat of Cardiology (DNB) from the National Board of India. She also holds a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from ICPS with additional experience in cardiac MRI interpretation.

With over three decades of experience, including 16 years in the UAE, Dr. Dhakad has worked at major institutions such as Rashid Hospital, where she helped advance the non-invasive Cardiology laboratory, and Saudi German Hospital. She has extensive expertise in invasive and non-invasive cardiology with special interest in radial interventions.Adult as well as pediatric echocardiograms (including strain rate imaging), Holter monitoring ,Event recording, Ambulatory BP monitoring, Head up Tilt Test etc remain her other field of interests.

Dr. Dhakad’s clinical interests cover a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, with a special focus on heart diseases in women during pregnancy. She has an expertise in treating the conditions as listed below. She is passionate about delivering comprehensive cardiac care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Dhakad regularly participates in international and local cardiac conferences and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is fluent in English and Hindi, offering patient-centered care to a diverse community.
