Dr Mridula Dhakad is a highly experienced cardiologist with an impressive academic and professional background. She obtained her medical degree from SMS Medical College, India in 1986 and went on to pursue her cardiology training at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai, India. She holds a DNB (Cardiology) from the Indian National Board and completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from ICPS in Paris, France.

With over 15 years of experience in interventional cardiology, Dr Dhakad is a recognised expert in her field. She has a particular interest in radial coronary interventions and non-invasive cardiology, including various diagnostic techniques such as transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE), paediatric echo, and tissue Doppler imaging. Her range of diagnostic options as well as extensive experience makes her a leader in the field of cardiology.

Dr Dhakad's core expertise encompasses a wide range of cardiac procedures and diagnostic tests. She is proficient in coronary interventions, both through radial and femoral approaches. Additionally, she has expertise in performing and interpreting cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT coronary angiography, echocardiography, and stress tests such as treadmill tests, dobutamine stress echo, and stress echo. She is also well-versed in tissue Doppler studies, as well as the monitoring of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) and 24-hour Holter monitoring and pacemaker implantation and management.
