It is a safe, effective, and controlled technique that helps children relax during a dental procedure. Its mild sedative effect wears off within minutes it is turned off. ✅ When is nitrous oxide sedation appropriate for use in children? Being relaxed during dental procedures not only ensures the safety of a child, but also encourages a positive dental experience and better overall dental care.
