Dr. Mohamed Shawkat

Dr. Mohamed Shawkat is a highly skilled Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist with a focus on trauma surgery and advanced arthroscopic techniques. With particular expertise in knee and shoulder procedures, he is known for performing complex surgeries including ligament reconstructions (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL, and posterolateral corner), meniscal repairs, root reinsertion, and intricate rotator cuff repairs.

Dr. Shawkat earned his MBBCh from Tanta University in 2007 and completed his Master’s degree in Orthopaedic Surgery at Benha University in 2015. Over the past five years, he has successfully performed more than 3,000 arthroscopic procedures and is highly regarded for his work with professional athletes, particularly through his role with Al Ahly Sporting Club's volleyball team.
