Dr. Sadek is a pediatric ophthalmology consultant in the pediatric ophthalmology unit in Eye Consultant Center. He previously filled the position of pediatric ophthalmology consultant in Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib medical group in Riyadh, Olaya medical complex and Habib Tachassussi Hospital from 2017 – 2021, before taking up his position at Eye Consultant Center.
Dr. Sadek is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is also an active member in Saudi ophthalmological society, Egyptian ophthalmological society and international organizations like World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus and International strabismological association; ensuring he remains up to date with the latest advancements in his field.
Dr. Sadek's main clinical interests include pediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus in children and adults doing all type of strabismus surgeries including recurrent cases, congenital cataract surgeries, intraocular lens surgeries including the scleral fixated types, lacrimal passages probing and syringing in pediatric age and eye lid chalazia excision.
Dr. Sadek undertook his medical degree from Ain Shams University in 2000, after which he completed a three-year residency program and received his Master's degree in Ophthalmology from Ain Shams University in 2005. After that he joined Maghrabi eye hospitals in Egypt in 2006 where he specialized in Pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
Dr. Sadek received his Diploma of Fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2008, also in the same year he was promoted as Fellow of Pediatric ophthalmology in Maghrabi Eye Hospital; advancing his career at every opportunity with an excellent track record.
In 2009 he joined the Prince Sultan Military Medical City in KSA where he completed his training of Pediatric ophthalmology and became an acting Consultant in 2015. He then joined the Habib Medical Group KSA in 2017 as a Consultant Pediatric ophthalmology, before assuming his current role.
