Dr. Mohamed Nada

Dr Mohamed Nada is a German Board-Certified Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopist with more than 17 years of international experience across Germany, the UAE and Egypt.

He currently serves as Head of the Division of Medicine at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, while maintaining a highly specialised practice in gastroenterology, hepatology and advanced endoscopy.

Dr Nada has performed more than 12,000 endoscopic procedures and has extensive experience in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of complex gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary diseases.

His main areas of expertise include advanced ERCP, EUS, complex polyp removal, EMR, ESD, EFTR/FTRD, POEM and third-space endoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy, pancreatic and biliary interventions, gastrointestinal bleeding, IBD, and hepatology.

He has particular interest in the early detection and endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and precancerous lesions, as well as providing minimally invasive endoscopic alternatives to surgery whenever clinically appropriate.

Dr Nada completed his specialist training in Germany and obtained German Board Certification in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (Dr. med.) from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Before moving to the UAE, he worked as a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist in Germany, managing complex gastroenterology and hepatology cases and performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

He is accredited by the German Society for Gastroenterology (DGVS) in Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Gastroenterological Infections and holds ultrasound accreditation from DEGUM.

Dr Nada speaks Arabic, English and German and is committed to providing evidence-based, personalised care, with a strong focus on minimally invasive treatment and avoiding unnecessary surgery whenever possible.
