Dr. Mohamed Nada

Dr Mohamed Nada is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist at Medcare Hospitals, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Cairo University in Egypt and subsequently pursued further certifications from the German Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in Muenster, Germany. Dr Nada later completed his Doctorate from the University of Essen and obtained a Master of Health Business Administration (MHBA) from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, both in Germany.

Dr Nada's professional achievements include accreditation as a Level I specialist in Internal Medicine Ultrasound by The German Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM) in Berlin, Germany. He has also attained accreditations in Gastroenterological Infections, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and Hepatology from the German Society of Gastroenterology, Digestive, and Metabolic Diseases (DGVS) in Berlin.

Dr Nada has over 15 years of specialist experience and holds professional memberships with several professional societies, including the German Society for Gastroenterology, Digestive, and Metabolic Diseases (DGVS), the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM), and the European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Throughout his career, Dr Nada has held positions such as Senior Consultant in teaching hospitals and has contributed his expertise to Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah. He has performed over 7,000 endoscopic procedures, specialising in early diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of early-stage cancers in the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, and large intestine (colon), as well as the diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumours and lymphomas.

Dr Nada's area of expertise covers a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including the removal of polyps in the stomach, duodenum, and colon, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

He has specialist expertise in the treatment of acute bleeding, bile duct obstruction, issues with the oesophagus, pylorus, pancreas, and colon, as well as jaundice, diarrhoea, and liver cirrhosis. Dr Nada utilises the latest techniques for stone removal in the bile duct/cystic duct/pancreatic duct, removal of benign tumours of the papilla, cyst drainage, and bile duct and pancreatic duct drainage.

Dr Nada's extensive expertise also includes conducting Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), biopsy/FNAC of tumours, cholangioscopy, liver biopsy, metallic stent placement, capsule endoscopy of the small intestine, double balloon of the small intestine, contrast-enhanced ultrasound of the Liver (CEUS), Botox injection in the sphincter of the oesophagus and pylorus, as well as Ph-Metry and Manometry.
