Dr. Michel Daher

Dr. Daher is a Psychiatrist. Dr. Daher completed their training in psychiatry at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2016. They then undertook a Fellowship in Mood Disorders with training in brain stimulation techniques in 2017, also at AUB.

Dr. Daher holds medical licensure in Lebanon and the UAE. They have previously worked as a Psychiatrist in Lebanon at a number of prestigious hospitals, including the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Alongside their clinical work, they have pursued their academic interests as an Instructor at AUBMC, Haigazian University in Beirut, and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

Dr. Daher also worked as a clinical supervisor for the National Mental Health and Suicide Helpline in Lebanon for two years. In this role, they supervised and trained operators in handling critical calls and providing appropriate help and assistance to callers. Through their experience working with NGOs in Lebanon, they gained experience in treating patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Daher is passionate about raising awareness about mental health. They believe in a patient-centred approach and that a strong patient-doctor relationship is fundamental to successful treatment.
