About Dr. Medhat Faris
Dr Medhat Faris is a consultant medical oncologist with over 25 years' experience in the field. He is based at the Advanced Care Oncology Center and the International Modern Hospital. Dr Faris' clinical expertise include the early detection and management of breast cancer, GIT malignancies, lung malignancies, head and neck malignancies, and male and female genital malignancies.
Dr Faris has extensive training in the field of oncology and has achieved a master's degree and an MD in the field. He completed his specialist training in the UK where he obtained a diploma in medical oncology (DMRT) from the Royal College in London. Dr Faris worked in the UK until 1997 and has since held positions at the Cancer Institute and King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Dammam.
Dr Faris has an interest in research and has published over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer for several journals.
