Dr Maya Kabbara is a Specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolism and in Internal Medicine. She furthermore holds an internationally recognized certificate in Obesity Management- awarded by the World Obesity Federation (SCOPE).
In the clinic, she treats all endocrine conditions but has a special interest in weight management.

BACKGROUD
Dr. Maya grew up and completed her school studies in Germany. She then graduated in 2012 from the American University of Beirut from the Faculty of Medicine, Lebanon. She specialized in Internal Medicine and completed her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the same center.

During her training she worked in a tertiary referral center, managing a wide spectrum of endocrinological presentations including patients admitted to the ward (intensive care unit and regular unit) and patients presenting to the outpatient department. Her training included the management of patients with pituitary tumors and the post- surgical aftercare.
She has a special interest in weight management and is certified by the WORLD OBESITY FEDERATION.
She has authored and co-authored multiple publications.
Dr. Maya is skilled in patient-centered and evidence-based medicine and diagnoses and treats illnesses through a holistic approach.
