Dr. May Ayad Hamid

Dr. May Hamid is a highly skilled Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology, with 15 years of extensive experience in the field. She earned her dentistry degree in 2008 from Ajman University of Science and Technology, and further specialised by completing a Master's in Oral Surgery with Implant Dentistry from Sheikh Maktoum Bin Hamdan Dental University College in Dubai in 2016.

Dr. May is known for her commitment to providing high-quality care, as reflected in her Associate Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She has also recently been recognised as a Fellow in TMD & Oro-Facial Pain, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and Sleep Medicine, awarded by Smile USA Academy and Roseman University in New Jersey, USA.

In her practice, Dr. May specialises in a wide range of oral surgery procedures, including soft and hard tissue surgery, frenectomy, gingivectomy, gingival depigmentation, crown lengthening, extraction of impacted teeth, dental implants, sinus lifts, alveoplasty, bone augmentation, dentoalveolar trauma management, and full mouth rehabilitation.

She is fluent in both Arabic and English and currently practises at Harmony Advanced Medical Center in Mohammed Bin Zayed City.
