Dr. Mark Regi

Dr Mark Regi is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist practising at UK Vein Centre in Dubai, specialising in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, with a particular focus on the treatment of varicose veins and venous disease. He graduated in medicine in 2003 and has developed extensive expertise in interventional radiology, including vascular intervention for trauma and complex aneurysm repair.

In 2014, Dr Regi undertook specialist training in minimally invasive varicose vein treatments with Dr David West at Veincentre Ltd. Following this training, he established the Nottingham Veincentre Ltd clinic, where he has subsequently performed more than 3,000 laser treatments alongside numerous sclerotherapy procedures. His expertise also includes pelvic vein embolisation, providing minimally invasive treatment for conditions associated with pelvic venous disease.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Regi contributes to education and professional development within interventional radiology. He is a faculty member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), where he teaches medical colleagues from across Europe on minimally invasive varicose vein treatments. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Trauma.

Dr Regi holds Honorary Clinical Lecturer positions at the University of Bristol and the University of Sheffield in the UK. He has also volunteered with Festival Medical Services, contributing his medical expertise to the provision of healthcare at festivals and large-scale events.
