Dr. Mark Ayad

Dr. Mark Ayad is a General Dentist, currently practising at My Smile Dental Clinic. With over 10 years of experience, he is proficient in all aspects of dental treatment. Dr. Ayad obtained his BDS in 2011 from Pharos University in Alexandria, Egypt, and has a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has also completed the 21st Restorative Program from the Arab Society of Continuous Dental Education (ASCDE). Dr. Ayad is enthusiastic about his field and is passionate about always expanding his knowledge and skills.

Dr. Ayad has professional experience working in both hospitals and dental clinics; prior to working at My Smile Dental Clinic, he has been a General Dentist at Hurghada Military Hospital, Eastern Medicine Centre and Dentamax Medical Centre. Within his role, he is skilled in a wide range of treatments and procedures, some of these include performing Hollywood Smile ‘smile makeover', applying different types of laser treatment, performing oral appliances to prevent snoring, dental care for infants, children & adolescents and performing surgical extractions. Dr. Ayad is also talented at working with anxious patients and dental-phobics, he is well-versed in the latest methods for pain and dental phobia management, such as Single Tooth Anaesthesia and Sedation.
