Dr Marek Sepiolo

Dr. Marek Sepiolo is a highly accomplished and dedicated Board Certified Vascular Surgeon with 28 years of experience in the field. Since the beginning of his professional career, Dr. Sepiolo has focused on treating varicose and spider veins, becoming a leading specialist in this area. He has received his medical education and training from renowned institutions in Poland, Germany, and the United States.

Dr. Sepiolo is known for his cutting-edge approach to treating varicose veins, becoming the first and only vein specialist in the Middle East to offer Echotherapy treatment with SONOVEIN®, which uses HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) to destroy varicose veins from outside the body, without the need for surgery or general anaesthesia.

Apart from his expertise in treating varicose veins, Dr. Sepiolo is also highly skilled in various other areas of vascular surgery, including Dialysis Access, DVT and Anticoagulation Management, Endovascular Procedures, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Wound Care for Diabetic Foot and Chronic, Non-Healing Wounds.

With an impressive academic background, Dr. Sepiolo received his PhD in surgery from the Medicine Faculty of Medical University of Gdansk, and completed his residency in thoracic surgery, general surgery and transplantation at Medical University of Gdansk. He also holds a fellowship in vascular surgery and endovascular surgery from the Specialist Hospital in Radom and has had foreign residency training at Klinikum Heidehaus, Department of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, Hannover. He also had training experience in vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Heart and Vascular Institute, Ohio. Dr. Sepiolo is also a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, International Society for Vascular Surgery, and European Society for Vascular Surgery.
