Dr Maha Majeed

Dr Maha Majeed is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Medical Director at Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital. She has over two decades of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology across Iraq, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, with particular interests in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, advanced obstetric care and women’s health leadership.

Dr Majeed holds Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and serves as an international representative and examiner for the College. She is also Adjunct Faculty at United Arab Emirates University. Her postgraduate qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in International Management from Swiss Business School, a Master’s Degree in Advanced Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and fellowship training in minimal access surgery in Germany. She is licensed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Health Authority Abu Dhabi.

Since 2016, she has served as Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital. Her clinical practice encompasses high-risk obstetrics, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, fertility management, colposcopy and urogynaecology.

Dr Majeed has contributed to research and medical education, presenting lectures on obstetric emergencies and publishing work on teenage pregnancy outcomes and ovarian drilling in polycystic ovary syndrome. She regularly participates in international congresses and professional development activities in women’s health and reproductive medicine.
