Dr. Lara Alatassi

Dr. Lara Alatassi is a highly qualified Specialist Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in comprehensive eye care and microsurgery currently practicing at Emirates Hospital Day Surgery, Motorcity. Syrian Board-Certified and internationally trained, she holds a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, alongside membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology.

A graduate of Al Baath University, Syria, Dr. Alatassi has built her reputation through years of clinical excellence and a patient-centered approach to vision health. She is skilled in managing a wide range of ocular conditions, including seasonal eye allergies, dry eye disease, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathies, optic nerve disorders, and computer vision syndrome.
