Dr. Kris Lewonowski

Dr Kris Lewonowski is a highly experienced, board-certified consultant orthopaedic surgeon based at Novomed Marina Plaza, Dubai (part of the Novomed Centers). His specialty areas include general orthopaedics, all spinal conditions including scoliosis, joint replacement and reconstruction, foot and ankle conditions, trauma, sports injuries, and physical rehabilitation. He has extensive experience in treating patients with back and neck pain and his areas of specialism include complex spine reconstructions, minimally invasive treatment of spinal conditions, adult degenerative spine conditions, anterior and posterior spinal procedures, and surgeries of the hip and knee. Within the area of spinal and joint replacement surgery, Mr Lewonowski specialises in radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, epidurals, stem cell therapy, and PRP for joint treatment.

Dr Lewonowski completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Arkansas, USA, in 1984 before going on to undertake internships in surgery and orthopaedic surgery at the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Surgical Medical Centre. Prior to his current role, he worked as an orthopaedic spine and total joint surgeon at Galichia Medical Group.

In addition, Mr Lewonowski has an interest in research and has spent time working in the field at various practices and clinics both in the UK and the USA. He is also involved in medical education and has held a number of teaching positions throughout his career.
