Dr. Konstantin Ronkin

Dr Konstantin Ronkin is an internationally recognised expert in functional, aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry with more than 43 years of clinical experience. He completed his initial dental training at the First Leningrad Medical Institute in 1980 before continuing his education in the United States at Tufts University in Boston. He later pursued advanced neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). He is fluent in both English and Russian.

Dr Ronkin is the founder and president of the Boston Institute of Aesthetic Medicine, overseeing clinics in Boston, St. Petersburg and Moscow. Alongside his clinical work, he has a prominent academic career and serves as Professor of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Jaume I University in Spain.

A global leader in craniomandibular orthopedics, Dr Ronkin is the President of the Russian Section of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) and the President-Elect of both the international organisation and its American section. He is also Chairman of the Neuromuscular Dentistry Section of StAR and sits on the editorial board of the respected journal CRANIO.

Dr Ronkin specialises in functional and aesthetic reconstructive dentistry, TMJ dysfunction, sleep apnea, implantology, and orthodontic treatment, with particular expertise in neuromuscular and physiological approaches. As Director of the Institute’s core educational programmes, he lectures widely at professional conferences across Russia, Europe and the United States.

A prolific contributor to his field, he is the author of more than 70 scientific and clinical publications, as well as educational materials and video courses for both clinicians and patients. Despite his extensive academic and leadership roles, Dr Ronkin remains deeply committed to clinical practice, treating patients across the Institute’s clinics in Boston, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
