Dr. Kavitha Leela

Dr Kavitha Leela Mony is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive clinical experience in women’s health across hospital and academic settings. She completed her MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at JSS Medical College, Mysore. She also holds a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (F.MAS) from World Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi, and is a member of the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.

Following her postgraduate training, she worked in both private and academic institutions in India, including roles as Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She later practised in the United Arab Emirates, including a long-term position as a Specialist at NMC Royal Hospital, Dubai, alongside roles at other medical centres.

Her clinical practice includes the management of general and complex gynaecological and obstetric conditions. She has experience in high-risk pregnancy, infertility, menopause care, polycystic ovary syndrome, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, uterine prolapse, abnormal uterine bleeding, and menstrual disorders.

Dr Mony performs a range of procedures including hysteroscopy, colposcopy, laparoscopic surgery, and urogynaecological treatments. Her work also includes minimally invasive interventions such as laparoscopic tubal ligation and laser-based treatments for vaginal atrophy and urinary incontinence.

She has contributed to academic publications and presentations and is involved in ongoing professional development.
