Dr. Jimmy John

Dr Jimmy John is a Specialist Paediatrician with more than 18 years of clinical experience caring for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. He currently works with HealthHub by Al-Futtaim in Dubai, where he provides both preventive and acute paediatric care across HealthHub Day Surgery – Festival City and HealthHub – Al Karama. He joined HealthHub in 2025.

His practice is built around comprehensive child health rather than isolated illness management. He looks after common and complex paediatric concerns while also monitoring growth, development, nutrition and immunisation, helping parents understand both immediate treatment needs and longer-term health priorities. His clinical focus encompasses newborn and paediatric disorders, childhood infections, acute and chronic illnesses, asthma and allergies, respiratory conditions, paediatric emergencies, vaccination guidance, developmental and growth assessment, and nutritional concerns such as obesity, underweight and selective eating.

A key strength of Dr John’s practice is preventive child healthcare. He provides vaccination counselling and immunisation guidance, while also following developmental milestones, weight, nutrition and general wellbeing throughout childhood.

This allows him to identify concerns early and support families with practical advice on feeding, development and age-appropriate preventive care. Dr John combines clinical assessment with preventive care and close developmental monitoring. His approach is particularly family-focused, giving parents clear guidance on treatment, vaccinations, nutrition and expected developmental milestones while ensuring children receive age-appropriate and evidence-based care.
