Dr. Jane Aitken

Dr Jane is UK trained doctor graduating from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School Imperial College London in 1995.

She has worked for over 25 years within the NHS and worked in medicine in New Zealand and Zimbabwe.

She has looked after all age groups having a holistic approach to diagnosis, treatment and preventive medicine.

Dr Jane was a Macmillan Cancer GP educator. She worked with community pharmacists to set a project called ‘Not Normal for You’ looking at how we can improve earlier detection of cancer.

She was a medical student clinical educator and supported junior doctors on rotation through the community rehab and elderly medicine hospital

Dr Jane volunteered for the RNLI and was the medical officer for 12 years for the Exmouth lifeboat crew in UK.

She has obtained two post graduate diplomas the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health, DSFRH and the Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, DCROG.

She has a broad experience including in her interests in women’s health, elderly medicine, weight management, mental health, preventive medicine, chronic disease management and sexual health medicine."
