About Dr. Ghazi Hassan
Dr. Ghazi Hassan is a cardiology consultant currently practicing at Advanced Cure Diagnostic Center. He completed his medical degree at the French Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 1976 and later pursued advanced studies in cardiology at René Descartes University in 1983. He subsequently trained in interventional cardiology at the Montreal Heart Institute in Canada.
Dr. Hassan previously practiced at the Gulf Diagnostic Center in Abu Dhabi, where he founded and led the Cardiology Clinic. His professional membership affiliations include the European Society of Cardiology, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, the American Association of Angelology and Cardiology, the Lebanese Society of Cardiology, and the Lebanese Order of Physicians, which recognised his more than four decades in medical practice.
His clinical work covers a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes- and lipid-related cardiac risk, valvular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke prevention, and vascular disorders. He performs and interprets non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging studies. He also evaluates cardiac catheterisation, CT-angiography, and nuclear cardiology results in coordination with radiology to support evidence-based management decisions.
