About Dr. Frea Perdawood
Dr Frea Perdawood is an experienced oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgeon at the American Hospital in Dubai. With 25 years of experience, she is skilled in all areas of breast cancer surgery, cosmetic surgery, and implant-based reconstruction surgery. Services offered include breast screening and assessment, breast reduction, breast uplift, mastectomy, reconstruction, breast conservation surgery, microdochectomy, draining of breast abscess, and gynecomastia surgery.
Dr Perdawood gained her MBChB from the University of Salahadin in Iraq in 1997 before going on to attain an MD in Denmark in 2003. Part of her training involved an oncoplastic breast fellowship at the plastic at the breast surgical department of Odense University Hospital. She also trained at the Plastic and Breast Surgical Clinic at the Royal Danish Hospital which is the largest and most specialised hospital in Denmark. Dr Perdawood was appointed as a senior consultant oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgeon in 2014 and has performed over 2000 breast and axillary operations. She continues to enhance her knowledge and has attended a number of specialist training events in breast cosmetic and oncoplastic, breast reconstruction surgery, and correction of post lumpectomy defects at Clinica Universidad de Navarra in Spain.
Dr Perdawood is a member of the Danish Breast Surgical Society, the European Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Association of Breast Surgeons (UK).

Dr Frea is incredible. She took time to explain my procedure and answered any questions and concerns that I had. The entire team is friendly and very efficient. I had a great experience from beginning to end. Dr Frea assisted me with getting a ride home after my procedure. I am very grateful for the outstanding care that was provided.

She always puts the patient first, and I am lucky to have her as my surgeon.
