Dr. Farhan Haleem

Dr. Farhan Haleem is a licensed physiotherapist with more than 7 years of experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of neurological disorders, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, vestibular problems, Parkinson’s disease, and cerebral palsy. He is highly skilled in neurological rehabilitation, kinesio-taping, manual therapy, pain management, and the development of exercise prescriptions tailored to individual patient needs. His approach is evidence-based and patient-centered, with the aim of improving mobility, functional status, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Haleem earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy in 2020. In 2024, he completed a Diploma in Manual Therapy. He is licensed with the Department of Health (Abu Dhabi, UAE) and the Health and Care Professions Council (UK). He is also registered with the Council of Allied Health Sciences Pakistan and holds memberships with the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association, the Emirates Medical Association, the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (UK), and the International Neurological Physical Therapy Association.

Currently, Dr. Haleem works as a physiotherapist at LLH Hospital Al Musaffah, part of Burjeel Holdings, where he has been practicing since November 2023. Previously, he served as a Clinical Physiotherapist and Lecturer at the City University of Science and Information Technology in Peshawar, where he also held the position of DPT Program Coordinator. His earlier experience includes working at SGH Physical Therapy Clinic, Souvenir General Hospital in Peshawar, and City Rehab Clinic, City General Hospital in Peshawar.

Throughout his career, Dr. Haleem has continued to build his expertise by participating in numerous workshops and certificate courses, including advanced training in the management of cervicogenic headaches, cervico-brachial pain, post-operative rehabilitation of the shoulder joint, geriatric physiotherapy, complex cervical spine management, lumbar spine stenosis, gait analysis in neurological disorders, lymphedema management, and long-term strategies for painful movement management. He also holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
