Dr. Eiman Alblooshi

Dr Eiman Alblooshi is a dedicated paediatrician with a subspecialty in infectious diseases, currently practicing as Head of Paediatric Department at Burjeel Royal Hospital in Al Ain. She earned her MBBS from United Arab Emirates University in 2012 and went on to specialise in paediatrics, achieving Arab Board certification in 2017. Further advancing her expertise, she completed a fellowship in Paediatric Infectious Diseases through the College of Medicine of South Africa in 2022.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Alblooshi is actively involved in academia as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. Her clinical and research interests include paediatric HIV, tuberculosis, tropical medicine, and the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance.

Dr Alblooshi is a member of several professional organisations, including The World Society For Paediatric Infectious Diseases (WSPID), PENTA Organization, Federation of Infectious Disease Societies of South Africa and the South African Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She is actively engaged in research, with contributions to publications in her field, and regularly presents her work at international conferences, including the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference.
