Dr. Charmaine Traylor

I have 21 years of experience of which 7 years I worked in my own private practise as well as working with St Marks mental health inpatient hospital, Police trauma response team, individual and group therapy for addictions and other mental health struggles as well as working in the Rape Crisis centre.

I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2009. I started working for the Canadian Medical Centre for 8 years, then moved to American Centre for Psychiatry and Neurology for 6 years.

My area of expertise is working with Adults struggling with various mental health issues including family therapy, marriage/couple therapy, all anxiety and depressive disorders, addictions, eating disorders, adjustment disorders and various sexual dysfunctions.

I work from a treatment framework based on each individuals needs including but not exclusive of any others, Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT); Person centred Therapy (PCT); Rational Behaviour therapy (REBT) and Integrative Therapy
