Dr Charles Bain

Dr. Charles Bain is a fully accredited, UK Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon who offers a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical interventions. His areas of specialisation include cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, general plastic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

Dr Bain graduated with Honours (First Class equivalent) in Medicine from Bristol University where he also completed a BSc in Medical Ethics (First Class). He undertook his plastic surgery training in prestigious London teaching hospitals including Chelsea & Westminster and St. Mary's Paddington, gaining the Specialist Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS[Plast].

Dr Bain was successful in securing a highly competitive cosmetic surgery fellowship, where he learned from some of the world's most renowned Cosmetic Surgeons at prestigious hospitals such as the Royal Marsden Hospital, London Clinic, Wellington Hospital, Cromwell Hospital and King Edward VII. He also completed specialist training in plastic surgery units of distinction at Imperial College, London and internationally in Hand Surgery at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

He received a Distinction for his Master's degree in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and has published book chapters and scientific papers on cosmetic surgery and hand surgery. Dr Bain also successfully completed the Hand Surgery Diploma, the highest sub-specialty qualification in hand surgery.

Before relocating to Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, Dr Bain was a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon at Guys' and St Thomas' Hospital in London with private cosmetic surgery practices in Harley Street and at The Shard.
