Catia Pineza

Mrs Catia Pineza is a highly experienced and certified Orthoptist with expertise in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a range of eye conditions. She has over 16 years of experience working in both private practice and national health hospitals in Europe. She is a member of the International Orthoptics Association and holds a BSc in Orthoptics from the Lisbon School of Health Technology in Portugal.

She has worked as a lead Orthoptist at Hospital de Cascais, where she developed her skills and research projects in the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of adult and
paediatric cases of binocular vision anomalies. Mrs Catia also has extensive experience with ocular motility disorders, congenital abnormalities and developmental ocular abnormalities.

With 7 years of practice in the Gulf region, Mrs Catia has worked with a diverse range of patients, including children and adults with special interest in cases of learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or behavioural disorders. She is also skilled in adapting contact lenses, conducting eye exams, and low vision assessments. Ms Pineza is dedicated to providing personalised care and is committed to ensuring her patients
