We had very good experience with Dr. Carmelo as he was very clear about the procedures and during follow ups.

I had a surgery of left thyroidectomy with Dr Carmelo , it was a first surgery in my life and a was nervous. Dr. Carmelo and team of anesthesiologists made my experience very smooth, procedure was lasting 1.5 hours and after 3 hours I felt like recovered from the anasthesia. I don't remember anything as well didn't feel any pain or discomfort of procedure. Everything that I experienced post procedure like soar throat or discomfort with swallowing i was told by doctor in advance, so there were no bad surprises for me. After 2 days I felt completely normal, I that was a good surprise. Overall I am very happy with Dr Carmelo and overall team work. My diagnosis was confirmed after inspection of the removed material, so overall action plan appears to be very reasonable. Thank you all involved

I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer and underwent a total thyroidectomy with Dr. Carmelo. From the very beginning, he made what was a scary and stressful time feel much easier. He made me feel safe, comfortable, and confident that I was in the best hands. The surgery went extremely well, and my recovery was better than I could have imagined. I had no pain at all after surgery or throughout my first week, and I was even able to resume some of my regular routine much sooner than expected. Dr. Carmelo is not only an excellent surgeon, but also a genuinely kind and caring doctor. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend him to anyone going through thyroid surgery.

Dr. Carmelo took great care of me throughout my thyroid concerns. From the pre-operative consultations through the post-operative care, I truly felt that I was in good hands. I had a total thyroidectomy done with Dr. Carmelo and I was extremely nervous and anxious prior to the surgery. He explained all the procedure to me and told me all the potential outcomes. He was very calm and patient with me. After the surgery, I can honestly say that I didnt feel any soreness in my throat or discomfort whatsoever. The recovery was indescribably easier than what I could have imagined. From the second day i was completely independent in everything I did.
