Dr. Benjamin Rookledge

Benjamin Rookledge is a Registered Osteopath with more than a decade of experience in musculoskeletal health, pain management, rehabilitation, holistic well-being, and performance optimisation. He currently practises in Dubai at My London Skin Clinic, where he provides physical and postural assessments, musculoskeletal evaluation, rehabilitation advice, and hands-on osteopathic care for patients experiencing persistent aches, pains, mobility issues, and physical dysfunction.

His clinical approach combines evidence-based osteopathic care with broader wellness strategies designed to support long-term health. Alongside manual treatment, he advises patients on movement, exercise, lifestyle, nutrition, stress resilience, mindfulness, and injury prevention. He has particular experience in managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions and helping patients improve physical function, recovery, and overall well-being.

Before relocating to Dubai, Benjamin owned and operated Body Care Osteopathy in Kent, UK, where he developed tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans for a wide range of musculoskeletal presentations. His earlier clinical work included positions across established osteopathic practices in the UK and Sri Lanka, where he treated a diverse patient population including older adults and patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

His international experience in Sri Lanka also gave him the opportunity to collaborate with Ayurvedic doctors, integrating insights from Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellness. This cross-cultural exposure has contributed to his broad, patient-centred perspective on physical health, lifestyle, and recovery.

In addition to clinical practice, Benjamin has a strong background in education. He previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the European School of Osteopathy, teaching undergraduate students clinical techniques, case-based learning, clinical reasoning, patient communication, and holistic approaches to care.

Benjamin holds an Integrated Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in the UK and has completed postgraduate training in Western medical acupuncture and dry needling. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Benjamin takes a pragmatic and holistic approach to osteopathic care, looking beyond symptoms to understand the physical, lifestyle, and stress-related factors that may contribute to a patient’s condition. His goal is to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility and function, and build sustainable strategies for long-term physical and mental well-being.
