Dr. Bashar Neamat Sahar

Dr Bashar Neamat Sahar is a Specialist Endocrinologist at Saudi German Hospital Dubai with over 17 years of experience in both the Middle East and the United Kingdom. He completed his medical degree at Al-Nahrain University, Iraq in 2003. He became certified as a Specialist in Endocrinology by the Arab Board of Internal Medicine and the Jordan Board of Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2009. He also gained his UK Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology from the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2012. Dr Sahar later completed a Postgraduate Diploma from South Wales University and an MRes in Diabetes & Obesity from Imperial College London, UK.

Dr Sahar's passion lies in the prevention and management of diabetes across all types, including gestational diabetes, as well as obesity management. He specialises in addressing a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders, including those of genetic origin such as Turner syndrome and Klinefelter syndrome. Dr Sahar also focuses on thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and parathyroid diseases, alongside conditions like male hypogonadism, post-menopausal flushes, short stature, and delayed puberty.
