Dr. Basel Khnifes

Dr Basel Khnifes, DDS, is a DOH-licensed GP Dentist based in the UAE. He works at Maribel Dental Center in Abu Dhabi, specialising in digitally enhanced restorative and aesthetic dentistry, with additional experience in endodontics, periodontal care and diagnostic dentistry.

His clinical practice covers crowns, bridges, veneers, smile design, teeth whitening and fillings, supported by CAD/CAM workflows, digital radiography and 3D imaging. He manages interdisciplinary cases and places strong emphasis on patient-centred care, treatment planning, education and anxiety management. He is experienced with UAE systems and protocols, including DOK32, Insta and insurance pathways.

He has broad experience across UAE healthcare settings. Most recently, he served as a GP Dentist at Your Dental & Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, providing comprehensive care for more than a thousand patients and delivering personalised treatment plans. He has implemented preventive protocols that reduced recurring dental issues by thirty per cent and achieved high patient satisfaction and retention. Earlier training at Ajman University included a dental internship with exposure to fillings, root canals and extractions.
