Dr. Basel Alrawashdeh

Dr Basel Alrawashdeh is a highly qualified Dermatosurgeon and Venereologist with extensive international training and over two decades of clinical experience in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. He holds multiple advanced certifications, including the MRCP (UK) SCE in Dermatology, the European Board in Dermatology and Venereology, and the American Board in Aesthetic Medicine.

He earned his MBBS from the University of Jordan in 1995 and subsequently completed his Jordanian Board in Dermatology and Venereology in 2001. He pursued further advanced fellowship training in Dermatosurgery, Laser, and Mohs surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he gained specialised expertise in surgical dermatology techniques.

Dr Alrawashdeh has held numerous senior clinical and leadership positions across Jordan and the UAE, including roles as Chief of Dermatology Department at Princess Zeid Hospital and senior specialist positions in major medical centres. He has also worked in international humanitarian settings, including service with the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Liberia as a dermatosurgeon and venereologist.

His clinical expertise spans dermatosurgery, laser treatments, Mohs micrographic surgery, aesthetic dermatology, and hair transplantation, including SAFER hair transplant techniques. He is experienced in managing a wide range of dermatological and venereological conditions, combining surgical precision with aesthetic outcomes.

Dr Alrawashdeh is an active member of several professional organisations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and has contributed to the field through research publications and participation in international conferences.
