Dr. Bariah Dardari

Dr. Bariah Dardari is a highly experienced expert in child health with a career spanning over two decades. She has made significant contributions to pediatric medicine, particularly in the field of integrative medicine and neurodevelopmental care for children with Autism/ADHD in the UAE.

Dr. Dardari's career journey includes several key roles and accomplishments. From 2002 to 2005, she served as a Pediatric Consultant at Hackensack Pediatrics in New Jersey, USA. In 2005 and 2006, she worked as a Neonatal Hospitalist at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was part of a dynamic neonatology team providing care for extremely premature and high-risk infants, as well as supporting the Labor and Delivery Department. Between 2006 and 2013, Dr. Dardari held the position of Consultant Pediatrician at American Hospital, Dubai. Her responsibilities included providing care for premature newborns, inpatient care for pediatric patients, and emergency care. She also assessed and treated patients with ADHD and autism during this time.

In 2013, she joined Al Zahra Hospital as the Head of the Pediatrics Department. In this role, she led a team of 25 doctors who provided care to high-risk and premature infants at the Level III NICU, as well as healthy newborns, acutely ill pediatric patients, and pediatric patients up to 16 years old. Dr. Dardari also conducted assessments and treatments for patients with developmental delays, speech delays, autism, and ADHD.

From 2017 to 2020, she worked with Novomed Centers, with a focus on developmental pediatrics and integrative medicine approaches. In 2020, Dr. Dardari established the pediatric department at Fakeeh University Hospital. In this role, she led a team of 10 pediatricians and provided care for healthy newborns, acutely ill pediatric patients, and pediatric patients up to 16 years old in the pediatric clinic. She continued her work in assessing and treating patients with developmental delays, speech delays, autism, and ADHD.

Dr. Dardari's professional affiliations include membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics and being an Associate of Harvard Medical School. Her main areas of expertise include developmental pediatrics, integrative medicine, leadership, safety, quality, and refugee health. Her qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and Board Certification in Integrative and Holistic Medicine.
