Dr Assil Kareem

Dr. Assil Kareem is a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist. She has worked for 12 years in renowned hospitals in Sweden and 4 years in hospitals in Baghdad prior to relocating to the UAE to continue her practice. She trained in Sweden and has extensive knowledge of all modalities within radiology, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Plain films, and fluoroscopy. Dr. Kareem also specializes in nonvascular interventional radiology procedures, such as ultrasound-guided biopsies, FNA, ultrasound-guided drainage, percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder drainage, and nephrostomy insertion.

Before joining Valiant Health Care in UAE, Dr. Kareem worked in SKMCA and Fakeeh University hospitals. Her areas of excellence include diagnostic radiology, emergency and trauma radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, nonvascular interventional radiology, oncology radiology, and paediatrics radiology. Dr. Kareem's vast experience and expertise in the field of radiology make her a valuable asset to any healthcare facility.
